Dear Hardik,
The fee structure in VIT University depends on the branch one wishes to pursue, the academic year, the category, nationality, and kind of hostel room and food (for hostel fee). If someone wishes to pursue a B.Tech course in category 1 (i.e. selecting a seat by virtue of better rank and readily available seat during counselling at least possible fee), it is approximately INR 2 Lacs per annum as academic fee plus INR 60000 per annum hostel fee (subject to vary a lot depending on AC/non-AC rooms and food).

As per my knowledge the chances of MH-CET in 2018 for engineering are very slim. I recently read in newspapers that JEE is going to replace all other state engineering exams. However, they might include aptitude tests in order for a person to qualify for giving JEE Mains. They are thinking of cutting short half the number of applicants in the first round i.e. aptitude round itself. But good news is; that they will inform well in advance so that the preparations aren't hampered. Don't be surprised if there are no state exams in 2018.

There is an acute shortage of technical officer in the Armed forces. Therefore, all the three armed force services i.e Army, Navy and Air Force has a lot of opening for mechanical engineers every year. If you include DRDO and defence PSU with Armed forces then maximum job opportunities for mechanical engineering graduates are in Defence sector.
