No direct admission is generally not possible in the SIMC Pune MA programme. To get admission into MA at SIMC Pune, candidates have to have a graduate degree as a minimum eligibility requirement. Moreover, candidates have to clear the selection round conducted by the institute. The PI contains 50 marks, and the WAT contains 50 marks. The total weightage is 100 for the final merit list. After this round, the institute releases a merit list to declare the names of selected candidates.

It's safe to say that this particular field is not limited to a certain age. Recruiters can be influenced by anything from a creative/ fresh outburst of a young designer straight out of college to an experienced visionary with a strong hold on what the brand demands. The common perception is that the field of fashion design is saturated these days. It is only when you get into the real job search process - you get to know the real scenario. As far as I have concluded - every field is saturated to some extent or another.
My suggestion would be to make good networks, be active on LinkedIn, Naukri and Indeed. Most importantly - Make a portfolio, gain certificates, skills and experiences DURING your Fashion Designing course. Do not wait till the college is over to explore career options yet make sure you balance that out while maintaining your academics.
