there are so many fiels to become programmer.it real depends upon in which language u want to make ur career.there are so many langauge such as JAVA,C/C+/C#/Vb/.NET framework /Python and perl/RUBY etc
all this language are famous programming language u can do certification in any ot this lang.
If u r interestd in web designing line u can go with jsp,asp,asp.net,php,ruby on rails etc.
So its totaly depends upon u.
u can do SCJP
