To become a commercial pilot :
* You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in Science (Physics and Mathematics) with 50%.
* Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
* You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.
* Next is Private Pilot License which includes sixty hours of flying. A Commercial Pilot Licence may be obtained only after a PPL and 250 hours of flying.

To become an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Exam.
The Civil Service Examination is organized by UPSC every year to recruit candidate for IAS, IPS etc.
Academic Qualification:
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from a well known college or university.
You can pursue graduation in any stream.
Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination.
-Age Limits:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
Number of attempts:
Every candidate appearing at the examination who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.
Selection Process
The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages:
(i) CSAT (Objective type) comprising 2 exams : General Studies
(ii) Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)
CSAT-Prelim:
-Paper 1 is on General Studies
This includes areas like Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Basic Economic Understanding, Geography
While the dynamic part includes current affairs, GK and has no proper definition and syllabus making quite vast.
-Paper 2 includes mathematics, reasoning, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills. Unlike paper 1 which has a static part, paper 2 is dynamic in many sense.
The Main exam will consist of :

Modern Indian Language,
English
General Studies-I
General Studies-II
General Studies-III
General Studies-IV,
Optional Subject Paper –I
Optional Subject Paper-II

As per the current govt directive, the eligibility criteria for the admission in 2014 is 10+2 with PCM. They haven't mentioned percentage criteria for taking admission this year. For Admission Either you can visit the institute with required documents i.e class 10th certificate, 12th marksheet, Leaving certificate, passport size photos or you have to download the admission form from www.shashibedu.com. Attach duly filled admission form with Registration fees of 20, 500/- in the form of DD in the favor of HINDUSTAN AEROSPACE AND ENGINEERING, PUNE and send it to mailing Address:- HINDUSTAN AEROSPACE AND ENGINEERING ,258/2, BALAJI PARK, BEHIND SEASONS HOTEL , AUNDH , PUNE-411007 at the earliest with attested copy of said documents . Appearing for civil services examination become lot easier which doing your M. Com as you can work with a lot of dedication. You can start preparing for preliminary and the mains examination.
