IMT offers Diploma and these Diploma courses are not equivalent to an MBA program neither for academic purpose in India nor for the visa abroad.
For knowledge enhancement only it may be useful but definitely not if you are thinking that it carries the same value as full-time PGDM program. The focus of IMT through distance learning is just on earning money.

Hi Navya,
There is a difference between MCA and M.Sc. Understand the differences and see what interests you, decide accordingly. MCA is more into practical applications, programming and designing. M.Sc is more into software development, research and development, etc. Also, M.Sc covers both hardware and software while MCA is only a software-oriented course.

Hello,
One can achieve better career, if the chosen field aligns with the subject of interest. Therefore, agriculture and food technology, being entirely different from each other, can't be compared in terms of their prospects. So, you should better introspect yourself and then do the detailed research over the chosen field so as to come up with its opportunities. All the best.
