Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university – B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BBM, B.E etc. with aggregate of 50% Marks.
MAT / CAT / CMAT / ATMA / XAT / GMAT Entrance score.
Score in group discussion and personal interview.
Fulfillment of basic eligibility criteria does not necessarily gurantee entrance to the program.
September & December, February & May MAT scores are acceptable.Candidates who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Copies of the following certificates should be submitted at the time of selection:
1. Marks Card of qualifying examination(Graduation).
2. MAT / CAT / XAT/ ATMA / GMAT / CMAT Score Card.
3. Valid ID Proof (PAN CARD/DL/PASSPORT/COLLEGE ID CARD/VOTERS ID etc.)

Admission Procedure
Every candidate has to qualify through GATE "2012/2011". This will be followed by Group Discussion and Interview of the short listed candidates to be held at NITIE, Mumbai. Candidates need to submit a photocopy of GATE score card / printout of GATE score from website. Selection of Industry sponsored candidates with 2 years industry experience is through personal interview only (NO GATE SCORE REQUIRED).
Admission requirements
Admissions to PGDIE course are open to graduates in all branches of Engineering/Technology or equivalent. The candidate must have first class degree (relaxable by 5% incase for SC/ST/PDcandidates).
Seats
A total of 127 seatsare available. Reservation of SC/ST/OBC belonging to non-creamy layer and Physically Disabled candidates is according to Government regulation. Seats are also available for sponsored candidates.
Application Process
Interested candidates can apply to NITIE through ONLINE mode: Candidates can fill theapplication form ONLINE. Application fee of Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- in case ofSC/SC/PD candidates) and applicable bank charges can be paid in the form ofchallan (downloadable from NITIE website) in any branch of State Bank of India.Hard copy of filled in online Application duly signed by the candidate should be sent to The Deputy/ Assistant Registrar (Academic),NITIE ,Vihar Lake, Mumbai – 400087 ,along with Institute’s copy of the challan and copies of the relevant certificates asmentioned in the Instructions section of the website. The candidates applyingfor the Industry Sponsored Category (ISP) should fill in the Sponsorship Formalso.
GATE score is not required for ISP candidates.
