Cloud computing is the delivery of computing and storage capacity as a service to a community of end-recipients. The name comes from the use of a cloud-shaped symbol as an abstraction for the complex infrastructure it contains in system diagrams. Cloud computing entrusts services with a user's data, software and computation over a network.There are three types of cloud computing:
1.Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS),
2.Platform as a Service (PaaS), and
3.Software as a Service (SaaS).
Employers will want you to have exposure to or experience working with the technologies of one of the four big cloud computing companies: Amazon, Google, Microsoft or Salesforce.com, and/or experience working with virtualization technologies such as that of VMWare.
Other requirements may include:
BA/BS degree in engineering, computer science or related field;
Network and security architecture experience;
Experience with a cloud migration, data center migration, or server consolidation project;
Knowledge of and experience with technologies such as Java, Web services, SOAP and Ajax;
communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. Ok let me start from india.
chemical engs have a very gud opportunities to work in 5 maharatna companies like iocl, ongc, coal india, GAIL, SAIL OUT OF 7 (REST 2 R NTPC and BHEL).
If u will see the number of chemical graduated people per year and requirement of chemical engineers in different companies then this ration will be far far better than mech, electrical, electronics and other branches.
apart from this chem people may work in designer companies like EIL, LINDE, L&T.
Chemies has also v gud chances to work with HUL, BPCL, HPCL, Vizak Steel, NFL,Iffco, Kribhco, asian paint, HPL, petro chemical industries.
A person may also make his carrier as a chem proffesor (due to poor luck :P or due to great chemical love.no other reason i think :P)
If we think in global, crude is the most liquefied state of money and chemies will always be associated with it.
Shell , schulmberger are the globally admired chemical companies.

There are many opportunities for both computer engineering as well as Information Technology. In Computer Science, we learn about design, development, all types of usable hardware and software and operating systems. And Information Technology we learn about maintenance, development, use of computer systems, software and networks for the processing and distribution of data. It is your future career decision so you have to choose it yourself. Along this you also have to make a good research on the college where you are going to get enrolled. It is also one of the major decisions.
