SAT is an essential part of the US college admission process. Very few colleges have SAT as optional requirement but if you don't give SAT you have to submit something else in place of SAT such as Andhra Pradesh scores, IB Diploma, etc. and you must have an exceptional profile. This also becomes difficult for international students. You have to check college websites and enquire. Some colleges having SAT has optional are Hofstra University, Smith College, Pitzer College, etc. You have to do your own research and find out the requirements.
