As per your profile you will not be able to apply for fall 2014 intake, you may look for spring 2015 intake provided you clear all your backlogs, please remember the history of backlogs, would not affect your chances of getting admission in US universities as long as you fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission, however please remember that by the time you apply for admission you must have cleared all your backlogs.

Dear Gagan, After passing out from AME school students have to do a mandatory one year training on type of aircraft in an airline or aircraft operator. During this period getting training on aircraft is more important than salary. Salaries in this year are not very high. Basically you are getting trained. 1. The eligibility criteria for PhD varies for every institute. The basic requirement is a Masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline. However the cut off percentages vary.
