Strategy to prepare for IPMAT:

You need to give an Entrance exam i.e. CET. It is mostly held in March. And to get into Dalmia, you need a percentile above 98 to get into MMS which comes under the Mumbai University. You can also apply for PGDM which is through the college; being the same as MMS.
But for admission through PGDM you need to score above 90 percentile and than clear GDPI rounds which will be held in the College

Presidency is a good college as it has a syllabus that is based on practical application of the knowledge rather than rote learning. It is a relatively new college and hence would give you a lot of opportunities to shine. So I'd say join this college and make the best use of the faculty and your abilities.
