Lovely Professional University (LPU) has transparent and reasonable eligibility criteria to enter in the B.Com (Hons.) programme by maintaining its academic standards and allowing all deserving candidates to study in the program. The B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) eligibility criteria differ for reserved category candidates at NLU Ranchi. The reserved categories include Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Cast, Backward Classes, EBC, and Specially Abled Person. The percentage of marks required for admission is the same for all categories, i.e., minimum 45% in Class XII. However, the number of seats allocated to each category varies. For example, 26% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates from Jharkhand, while 7.5% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates from other states. Similarly, 10% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Cast candidates from Jharkhand, while 15% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Cast candidates from other states.
