M.Sc. Astrophysics admission is mainly dependent on the marks of the entrance exam. The admission process varies in different colleges. There are few simple steps to follow in order to take admission in such colleges:
The candidates must have met all the eligibility criteria. The candidates should fill out the admission form. The admission of the candidates mainly depends on the marks of the entrance exam so they must give an entrance exam. The selected candidates on the basis of their marks must be ready for their Personal Interview or counseling session. You have to qualify in BHU UET. Board performance doesn't account for any weightage in the entrance Exam i.e. UET. Though you have to score a minimum set of marks which are expressed in the UET prospectus ( Differs for General, OBC etc. )
After you have appeared for UET, the marks you obtain will be crucial in determining whether or not you will be allotted Geology Honors because It is one of the most sought after Honors course in the University.
There are three subject combinations which involve Geology Hons :
PMG Physics MATHEMATICS, GEOLOGY)
BGC (BOTANY, GEOLOGY, Chemistry )
GGC (GEOLOGY, GEOGRAPHY, CHEMISTRY)
BGC & GGC are for students with Biology background in 12th while PMG is for students with Mathematics background.

Admission to the B.Ed programme is entrance-based conducted by the university at different centers all over India. The applicants are required to submit a filled-in application form along with copies of mark sheets as prescribed in the application form. The original documents are to be presented at the time of admission, after the entrance exam. The final selection of the students for admission is done after the entrance exam is conducted and on the day of admission, the candidate has all the documents necessary for admission. The candidate should have scored a good score in the entrance test. The candidate must be eligible for admission. The candidate must have all the documents required. IGNOU conducts its admissions in two cycles i.e. January and July. Selection to all the courses at UG & PG level is based on merit secured in the qualifying exam. For B.Ed and Doctoral programmes, admission is based on the entrance test. IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam is held in 2 sessions by NTA at various centers.
