In addition to this, the student preference changes and this causes a shift in the priority and consequent enhan

Direct admission in second year is called lateral entry. The Percentage actually might differ from university to university. In-fact all universities might not accept it. Could you please be more specific if there is any particular university that you prefer admission in, so that I can guide you better?

Hello Siddharth,
The main factors are the location of the institute and its rich alumni base. Established in 1965, the brand value of the institute also plays an important role. Placements and the visiting faculty are other two important factors.

Swami Vivekananda does not offer BA course. I don't think so that they have a center in Kolkata.
I would suggest you to contact the college to verify the same.

Yes, MBA from a good college will give you opportunities to get into a good organisation. It's not only about the good college, but also individual's performance. A good academic profile during MBA and well performed in internship will definitely open opportunities in final placements. Good college repo will bring good companies for placements.

Hello Siddharth, I must say that's a very good question!
Since it is an open ended question and unlike the others questions on the platform, it is reflective in some sense, so I will answer in terms of what I think and believe. It has lost its value because today it is not as sought-after as it used to be 20 years ago. Trends and times have changed. But mind you this is not the case with MBA. Yes, it is the most
