It's nice to know that you are already thinking of continuing your education by seeking Admission under a lateral admission mode in COEP in information technology. It is good to know the cutoffs of previous years but if you ask me, they have only limited usefulness. This is because this changes from year to year in the same branch in the same college. The main factors are the location of the institute and its rich alumni base. Established in 1965, the brand value of the institute also plays an important role. Placements and the visiting faculty are other two important factors.

Since it is an open ended question and unlike the others questions on the platform, it is reflective in some sense, so I will answer in terms of what I think and believe.
