Hello Kanhaiya Thakur, normally speaking for a student who is seeking to do Ph.D. in any subject is supposed to know no a lot about that subject since only then can the student is expected to carry out research in that subject. Therefore I feel that you may not be eligible to pursue Ph.D. in any other subject in Humanities. But you can pursue Ph.D. in information technology in which you already have a post graduation. Basically Ph.D. means doing research and the degree awarded is Ph.D. in respective of the field in which one does it. But then there could be instances where some private University may allow you to pursue your dreams. But you need to find the sword by contacting the administrative staff of the concerned University. Else you can think of doing post graduation in that subject of Humanities in which you are interested in carrying out research and then register yourself for Ph.D. Best wishes to you.
