The UCEED exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type NAT Multiple Select Question (MSQ), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Meanwhile, Part B will include drawing and aptitude-based questions. Note that in the previous edition of the exam, Part B include only sketching-based question. So, starting UCEED 2024, the candidate also needs to prepare for aptitude based questions that will be asked in Part B. Questions for the aptitude section will evaluate the ability of the candidate to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.

Yes, IIT Bombay has released a revised syllabus for the UCEED exam. The revised syllabus will be applicable from the academic session 2024 onward. As per the revised syllabus for the UCEED 2024 exam, the question paper will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will continue to be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode and will have three sections NAT MSQ, and MCQ). However, Part B will now have two sections - 1) the Drawing-based section, and 2) the Design Aptitude Section. The full details for the revised syllabus, including section-wise questions and marking scheme will be released shortly.

The question paper for the UCEED 2024 exam will 3 hours long and have two parts. Part A - It will be computer-based section, 2) Part B - It will be a sketching-based test. The candidate need to appear in both the paper to be included in the merit list. Further, the candidate has to qualify Part A, or else his or else Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated. The qualifying marks for Part A will be released before the declaration of results. Part A will include the three types of questions - Numerical Answer Type NAT Multiple Select Question (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). .
