As things stand, Somaiya Vidyavihar University has not given out the cutoff points for the B.Sc. in Computer Science program in the 2025 academic year. Admissions mostly depend on merit and how a candidate scores in Class 12 exams is considered the main factor. Most applicants need to have at least 50% in their 10+2 exams and a science background.

With a score of 35% in CMAT it may be tough to be getting a good college in CAP round however, in my opinion, you can get good institutes who have lower cutoffs and good faculty and placement opportunities, like Welingkar, MET Mumbai, IPE Hyderabad. Target institutes which might interest you and come within your career interest. Also keep in mind potential cut offs, and apply strategically where you believe you will have a good response to maximize your chances of getting a call for GD and PI. In addition, participate in networking and internship opportunities, as these will drive your career in that direction. Choose a college which would provide opportunities to support your career and maximize your career potential and opportunities.
