Candidates are selected for MArch course at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology on the basis of merit of graduation. They must pass BArch with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised institute/university. This is also the eligibility criteria for MArch course at the institute.

Mid-tier colleges: Cutoffs around 192–197; ranks between 3,000 to 10,000+.
Other colleges: Lower cutoffs (170–190) and ranks from 10,000 up to 80,000+ offer seats in many private/self-financing colleges.
