To get admission in most of the engineering colleges in Delhi, you would need to appear in any entrance test such as the JMI entrance test for Jamia. However, some institutes do offer direct admission based on the class 12 score:
1. Khatu Shyam Institute of Management and Technology: The fee is around Rs. 60,500 in general but may vary for management quota direct admission to the B.E. Course.
2. Education Institute of Management and Engineering Studies: The fee at this college is around Rs 25,200 per year for a B.E. Course. There are some other private colleges also, but for direct admission, you need to pay a relatively high fee for admission to B.E. Or B.Tech.

You have a chance to get admission to Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) depending upon your subcategory. There are around 30 seats available for the M.Sc. Biotechnology course, which is offered at the University College of Science and Informatics of MGU. The admissions to this course are based on the CPGET rank of the candidate. The CPGET 2021 rank of the last admitted student for the M.Sc. Biotechnology course was 873 in the BCA category. For the BC B category, it was 772 and for BC E, it was 663. However, you may have fewer chances if your category is BC D, as for this category, the admission rank was under 500. Therefore, you can get a seat in MGU under certain categories, but this estimate is based on the previous year and may change this year depending upon the number of students applying in your category.
