The minimal requirements for admission to IIST's BTech programme are 75% of total marks in class 12 (65% for ST/SC, and PwD candidates). In summary, it appears that IIST does not have a minimum percentage requirement for class 12th grades, but fulfilling the JEE Main eligibility criteria - which includes earning 60% or above in certain courses in class 12th grade -  is essential to being admitted to its B.Tech degree.
