Chanakya University offers two courses in Computer Engineering. Chanakya University has 120 seats available for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. Another 120 seats are available for BTech in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence course.

Chanakya University conducts the Chanakya University Pravesha Pareeksha (CUPP) as an entrance test for its BTech courses. The university has not published the exact dates of CUPP for this year. The CUPP exam is usually conducted in the months of April-May.

The total annual hostel fee including Rent, Food, and Utility alongwith the security deposit has to be paid in a single installment. The security deposit is a caution deposit of INR 20,000. The utility services include Electricity, Campus Wi-Fi, Laundry, Hostel ERP and Housekeeping services.

Students seeking admission in BTech courses at Chanakya University can take one of the following exams and attain a valid score to apply for admission:

• Entrance exam conducted by Chanakya Univesity- CUPP
• State level entrance exams- KCET or COMEDK UGET
• National level entrance exam- JEE 

To be eligible for admission in BTech courses at Chanakya University, you need to get minimum aggregate of 65% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You also need a valid score in one of the entrance exams (JEE/KCET/COMEDK/CUPP) that is accepted by Chanakya University to apply for BTech admission.

The new CBSE 2026 exam format is considered beneficial for students. It aims to reduce the stress of students by allowing them to appear in two board exams. It reduces rote memorisation and focuses on competency based questions.

7. Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence: INR 13.60 lakh

27 out of 80 counts as a passing grade in CBSE 10th and 12th exams. Students are required to score at least 33 per cent in each subject.

The new CBSE board exam pattern 2026 focuses on competency-based questions. It also prescribes two board exams for CBSE 10th. The answer sheets of CBSE Class 12 will be evaluated digitally.
