Recently i hv completed my B.Tech and i want to prepare for CAT. can i start prep. from PATNA(hometown) or should shift somewhere else?

I also hv been recruited in an MNC but still not got the joining letter. In the mean time i hv made my mind to prepare for B-School and came to know about IMS,Patna.So should i start here or move somewhere else for better result.? My academic record is 70%+and there is no yr gap.
