The basic difference between MBA and PGDM is that a university can offer an MBA degree and institutes that are autonomous and are not affiliated to any university can offer PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) degree. However, some of these programmes are approved by regulatory bodies such as AICTE. Even if you have not qualified CAT you can try in some reputed university like Lovely Professional University, Amity, SMU, etc they offer dorect admissions too. If you fulfill their admission criteria you can get admission there. Not only this some of them offer scholarships too.

I am confused in MBA and PGDM.is mba's are worthless.what should i do if i am not getting in top 25 b-school.May i spend one more year in preparation as i havent qualified cat.
