WHY ARE STUDENTS FROM MARKETING AND FINANCE (OR FINANCE AND MARKETING ) RELUCTANT TO TAKE UP MARKETING IN FINANCIAL SERVICE INDUSTRY ?

According to me the major reason for this is that students perceive finance as a field that will give them a sitting job or operational job. They expect the same from their degree. But marketing is a field of struggle and hard work which actually is not expected by them. -

such things can not be generalized.there can be different reasons for different people to choose a particular field.
