Resnick and halliday or h.c. verma for physics iitjee?

Hi Gourav, As both the books it would be difficult to provide as both the books covers various important sections of physics. However below I have mentioned some of the important topics under physics and books for the same: Physics The topic-wise break-up of questions asked in JEE is as follows: Current Electricity 8 Electrostatics 4 Optics 3 Laws of Motion 2 Simple Harmonic Motion 2 Waves 2 Heat and Thermodynamics 2 Current electricity is the most important topic of IIT JEE Physics. It always fetches a good amount of questions. In 2013, 8 questions were asked from this topic. Electrostatics is also an important topic which easily draws 4-5 questions. Various other heads which are equally significant include Laws of Motion, Simple Harmonic Motion, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics. JEE aspirants must focus primarily on these topics so as to secure their position in the prestigious exam.
