If you have a PG degree with 55% marks from any Indian University (UGC recognized), you are eligible for NET and SET. AICTE is not a factor. AICTE recognition is for relevant degree or diploma in Engg, management and Pharmacy. An Institute or college cannot offer a degree or diploma in those discip

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Application

Management courses don't need any AICTE approval, Aicte approval is only for technical courses.
For management courses UGC recognision is needed..
so u can appear for NET SET exam
