2013-04-21 20:03:49If you have a PG degree with 55% marks from any Indian University (UGC recognized), you are eligible for NET and SET. AICTE is not a factor. AICTE recognition is for relevant degree or diploma in Engg, management and Pharmacy. An Institute or college cannot offer a degree or diploma in those disciplines with out AICTE recognition. -

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY :
i)
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
