If you have a PG degree with 55% marks from any Indian University (UGC recognized), you are eligible for NET and SET. AICTE is not a factor. AICTE recognition is for relevant degree or diploma in Engg, management and Pharmacy. An Institute or college cannot offer a degree or diploma in those disciplines with out AICTE recognition.

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is the national level entrance examination in India for postgraduate candidates who wish to qualify for admission in PhD research and/or university level teaching jobs in India.

Management courses don't need any AICTE approval, Aicte approval is only for technical courses.
For management courses UGC recognision is needed.
