Respected Sir/Madam, I want to do M.C.A from Distance Education mode. Can I eligible for GATE and can get admission in IITs' for M.Tech??

I have completed my B.C.A under W.B.U.T with 8.58 DGPA and got job in TCS. Now I want to complete my M.C.A from Distance Education mode from SMU or IGNOU . But I am interested to do M.tech in Regular mode from Institutes like IITs', NITs'. Can I eligible for GATE and take admission in IIT or NIT?

You are eligible for GATE after passing MCA from a UGC/AICTE approved institution. Mode of study, whether distance or regular does not make difference.
