IAS is not a tough exam, as it is made out to be. Your first focus obviously, should be on clearing the IAS Prelims. The minimum qualification required for IAS is graduation from a reputed university. There are two stages that you need to clear- preliminary exam and main exam. In order to prepare for IAS the minimum requirement is graduation from a recognized university and the age group is 21-30y

Far IAS exam its better to start ur preparation from now onwards. Since its a very competitive exam. Collect informations on current affairs. improve on Apptitude knowledge. And reading 6th standard books to 12th standard books on CBSE pattern will be alot helpful.
