role of 12th class percentage for iim
hello,my 12th percentage is 40 but in b.com percentage is going 65+ ...so i want to ask what is the role of 12th% am i eligible for cat,iim

Hi Mahfooz,
For IIMs your graduation marks will play more important role than your 12th but yes when it comes your overall academic scores then 12th will play an important role. However, if you are able to score exceptionally well in your CAT examination then yes, it will be cover up for your low 1

CAT Eligibility
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
Academic percentages do play a vital role. Though you are eligible for CAT, conversion depends on an extra-ordinary performance in CAT and GDPI.

Dear Mahfooz, it has weightage but low percentage does not disqualify you. You have to be a 3 years course graduate with min 50% marks to be eligible for IIMs. Getting admission into an IIM is a 3-step process. The selection process consists of a written examination called the Common Admission Test
