scope for a biotech engineer?

Hi I am hafsa i hv successfully got 85% in board exam & I secured 24569 engineering rank in kcet to step up next I hv select Bio technology branch in engineering . some of my frenz r saying that there is no scope for Bio tech so u should not take it but I'm very much interested in that so plz help

Biotechnology is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for BE /B.Tech Biotechnology Graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities. Biotechnology
