Scope of event management in India.

Does this field have scope in India or is it better to go abroad and pursue it. Are there any colleges in India offering this course?

With huge events like the IPL , sunburn, NH7Weekender, corporate parties, celebrity weddings and all being held on such a huge scale nowadays in India, i think event management definitely has a lot of scope.
Why do marketing if u want to do event management? there are colleges like university of technology and management in shillong which offers an MBA in event management. an mba will give you comprehensive knowledge in the field.

Dont Do A Degree In Events Management. Do one in Marketing. Get AICTE Approved Courses. Then You Can Get Into Events Management. Also, there are institutes which would give event management Diplomas or PG Diplomas.
Thus a MBA + Events Certification can help you boost your career successfully.
    Best Of Luck.
