Talking about its career prospects:
One can start his or her career as a management trainee, analyst, or front line supervisor. The field has no standard career path, but with a broad base of business skills, knowledge of supply chain processes, and relevant internship/work experience, you will have the opportunity to begin your career with a manufacturer, retailer, carrier, third party logistics firm, or other organization. Starting salary will range between Rs. 10,000 and Rs 15000. -
One can earn between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000 per month as a beginner in this field. After a year or two of experience, you can expect a package of Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 a month. Those working at a higher level can easily earn Rs 8 to Rs 12 lacs a year.
