Shall I go for a regular course or correspondence course? Can you suggest some good colleges for the same in India and abroad?

I have done B.Tech in electronics and communication in 2010 and currently working in an IT firm as an software engineer. My interest is in pursuing some research work in physics.

If you still wish to be loyal to your stream, but desire to some elements of Physics, you may pursue the following streams for your M Tech
    VLSI/MicroElectronics
    OptoElectronics and Laser Technology.
These streams contain elements of Physics/Solid State Physics/ Photonics. To pursue M Tech you will have to clear GATE. After the completion of your M Tech you may proceed to do PhD in Solid State Electronics or related technologies.
