No, there is no such compulsion that you have to do BBA for doing MBA, anyone from any stream can do MBA.

If you are from humanities background, then I would suggest that don't change path from Humanities to Commerce, as it will create many difficulties. So, better go for BA and MBA later that will be much clear path for you.
