Shall I pursue chemical engineering from UPES or CSE from LPU?

Dear Himanshu, Both are very good universities, but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of the CSE programme at LPU only. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Both chemical engineering from UPES or CSE from LPU are equally good on their own grounds but one has to understand its needs and requirements accordingly. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance for the students to attend guest lectures or workshops so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead of any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. CSE from LPU is a better choice. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities.
