Shall I pursue ECE from PESIT or mechanical engineering from RVCE?

    PESIT and RVCE are more or less at the same level. There is not much difference in terms of academics or placements. Therefore in my opinion you should choose according to the branch that you are interested in.

    I have just joined Shiksha and it is overwhelming to see students have the same doubt I had two years back.
    I took a decision and I am not regretting and here's a overview of both the colleges I got to know in these years.
    PESIT does not take admission through COMEDK anymore. Also, it's fee structure is twice as much as RVCE.
    Apart from these two factors, PESIT is known to spend a lot on its marketing and publicity, RV hardly ever does that. Placements are pretty much the same in CSE and ISE but RV has a far better placements in other branches.
    RV has a better campus and clubs as well.
    So, my take is, go for ECE in RV.
