Shall I pursue IT from IIIT, Allahabad or chemical from NIT, Trichy? I am weak at chemistry.

It ultimately depends on what course you're interested in. As I student of NIT-Trichy, I can tell you that there are good placement and higher studies opportunities for chemical engineering in NIT-Trichy. Also, IIIT-Allahabad is a reputed college too. I suggest you to not end up choosing the course

From what you say, I feel IIIT-Allahabad is a better option because it has an equally good reputation and also offer a branch you are more interested in.
