As a faculty at LPU I can provide information regarding the CSE in LPU as I don't know about BML munjal University. Hi Faiyaz, BML Munjal is undoubtedly good. I would like to tell you about B.Tech Mechanical engineering course of LPU. Here are the details. The LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/ JEE (Mains). For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) If Candidate has 85 or more percentile in JEE (Mains), then LPU NEST is exempted. The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. He should have the Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. Dear Faiyaz, I have no idea of BML Munjal, but being alumni of LPU, I can assure you that both ME and CSE are good at LPU. My friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of their academics and extracurricular activities and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field.
