Should applicants mail their documents as well when applying for UVA admission online?

It is strongly discouraged by the University of Virginia that prospective applicants mail copies of their documents, even if they can be uploaded online on the application portal. Mailing documents causes delay in delivering decisions, hence, it is not feasible.
