Career aspirations reflect your focus and motivation for pursuing the internship and the extracurricular activities reflect your personality and soft skills like communication abilities, the ability to work in a team environment, leadership, and the inter-personal skills. These factors will give you an edge and enhance your chances of attaining the internship. Therefore, the candidate should include both the career goals/ aspirations and extracurricular activities in his SOP for internship.
