Should class XIIth Board Exams be scrapped for the academic year 20-21?

If yes, how do we assess the current class XIIth students? If no, what is the safest way of conducting these exams? When should we conduct them given the raging pandemic? Please share your suggestions.

The exam should be cancelled and there should be conducted an aptitude test. On basis of 12th reduced syllabus all in one PCMB and seperate language for 50 marks.

Exams should be canceled. Promote them on the basis of exams which have been taken by the school. If the government wants to take exams then they should take only practical exams.

As per the current situation of this pandemic it is not safe for anyone even the students to go out for the examinations by June if the number of cased is in then too the risk of getting affected by covid is there so the exam can be taken by online method or internal assessment can be done but until everyone gets vaccinated and the situation outside becomes safe for everyone offline exams should not be taken as it is a question of almost 30-40 Lacs student's lives. We can't put so many lives in danger.

Exam have to be conduct but if cases are rising more even in may and june than only the exam should be cancelled.

Cancelling the exams would be the best suggestion. Due to this year of pandemic no one was able to attend lectures online due to some or the other reason.

Any decision should be taken as fast as it can. It should be either be cancelled or it should be conducted, it should not pospond further because it will hinder our one whole year. And it is cancelled it will not make huge difference because to study further we have to give competitive rxam like JEE, NEET NDA and many more, so I think exam can be cancelled.

Yes, class 12th examination should be canceled as cases are rising and even though vaccination is going on there is no sign of cases slowing down.

Like 10th boards are cancelled due to covid than why they waiting for 12th we are also human being and there is discrimination between 10th and 12th.

I'm in favour of cancelling the board exams of class 12 because of increasing cases and related deaths. Every 3rd person is testing positive and there are cases in alternate houses. In addition the second wave is affecting students which is a point to be considered. The students who are not satisfied with their results could be given a chance to write the exam once the pandemic gets over. I'm from Gujarat, Rajkot.

Examination is the test of a child ability, creativity, talent and knowledge I personally feel that exams of any kind should not be scrapped or cancelled it will send a wrong message for future generations.

Class 12 should be cancelled this year is not coming from a student who hasnt studied this year but rather on behalf of those who did not even have the resources to even come to a basic level of learning. Most of the those who are complaining or are against the conduction of board examination this year are those who haven't studied but the actual victims of the pandemic who did not have anything to study who did not have the resources to study are the ones who do not even have the platform to raise their concerns.
