Should CLAT 2021 be postponed again owing to the rising cases of COVID Delta Plus variant?

The third wave of COVID-19, Delta Plus, has started in some regions of the country. Moreover, not all candidates will get both doses of the vaccine by July 23. In such a situation, will it be better to postpone the CLAT 2021 again? What's your take on it?

I think instead of postponing it again the option of online should be considered. Other Law entrances have happened online. Otherwise, students will choose other options offered by other colleges. How long will they wait?

In my opinion, it shouldn't be postponed more but yes if we talk about delta variant then yes it's a high time risk to come out of house and appearing offline. Online exams should be conducted like last year. Because any which ways we have accepted the facts of staying inside our homes are safe and after result, admissions are too going to be online. Then lectures and study sessions online. So why not this exam online. ?

Although I want it to end as soon as possible because there is already a lot delay and it's high time we should get our colleges, still after reading about Delta variant I am a little skeptical about giving the exam between soo many students. I feel really scared. Additionally, JEE mains exams is also clashing with CLAT examination. Amidst the Delta variant and JEE exam, let's hope for the best decision which is in justice with every aspirant.

I really don't know whether CLAT 2021 will be postponed or not neither anyone of us will know until they tell us. I think anyone who is giving exam this year try to stay positive & DON'T GIVE UP on your DREAMS. Try to live this time & enjoy the journey of seeing that DREAM coming TRUE.

CLAT getting postponed will throw us back into a loop of unending uncertainty. Taking precedent from last year, it is advisable that CLAT be held as soon as possible before a surge in the number of cases beyond control. It would also give the aspirants a sense of assurance. Furthermore, it would also aid timely admissions and beginning of the academic session. Thus, CLAT getting postponed would not be plausible in my opinion.

No, actually this is the right time if not now it will only take place after October as according to scientists the 3rd wave will peak in sept-October. And many private colleges have already started their admission process and in august, many public colleges will open for admissions too, This will burden students who want a backup plan. It is better to face it now.

No, it should not be postponed at all. It will result in the abnormal delay of the college semester and it's us who will have to face the consequences later. We have to learn to live with the virus, we can't be delaying each and everything in life. The virus will mutate and isn't going away. CLAT consortium has taken solid precaution by increasing the number of test centers, however, if the situation becomes similar to that of the 2nd wave with the same mortality numbers. The test can be done online.
