Well the admission process of LPU has already started. Due to the rise in the daily cases of Covid-19 in different parts of the country, many state governments have put various restrictions to curb the spread of the virus. Considering the scenario of restricted movement and keeping the focus on the safety of the candidates, LPU extends the option of Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST exam from home. The remotely proctored exam will be monitored live through various Artificial Intelligence tools and by the invigilators. LPU NEST 2021 registration window for May session is open from May 08. Hi, For taking admission into B.Tech you need to qualify eligibility criteria 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. Dear Pasham, There are three possible scenarios: 1. You score above 90% in 10+2, then you don't need to write JEE Mains or LPU NEST. 2. You have not written LPU NEST but scored above 70 percentile in JEE Mains, then you may not write LPU NEST. 3. You have written LPU NEST and scored god, into the scholarship range. Then you don't need to write JEE Mains.

This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme's test is applicable only for a scholarship. Hi, JEE Mains can be considered for a scholarship, but in B.Tech you have to give LPU NEST. LPU offers different types of scholarships based on marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST. Sports, Defence, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships. As an alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Scholarship for a specific Programme depends on Performance in LPU NEST. There are three brackets: LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category I cut-off LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category II cut-off LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category III cut-off This cut off depends on various parameters like number of students appeared, the highest marks in the exam and many more.
