Should Delhi University admissions 2021 be based on CUCET?

With no clarity over the CUCET as yet, officials at Delhi University are strongly considering exploring different options to hold UG admissions this year. What is your take on it? Do you think that DU admissions should be based on CUCET exam?

No, it should never be as many students are broken with the rhythm. Be in the place of students. Studying something for more than a year than getting it postponed waiting for one month whether we will be able to give exam or not overlooking all this and with this extreme pressure we studied then getting exam cancled then u get to know there is no confirmation when u are going to get your results. There is no way left for us to come out of burden neither is a way we can reduce it. The pressure is just increasing and in such a situation conducting CUCET is not the right option.

DU should conduct CUCET. Not all the students of batch 2020-21 would have been able to get flying colours in their results.

Not everyone will get appropriate and deserving marks this year. So, there should be another chance to prove ourselves with better scores.

No, many students who aim for Delhi University only focus on class 12th boards syllabus and not syllabus for entrance tests. Hence, conducting CUCET will be unfair as it ll lead to biasness against students who actually aimed to get into DU.

No, a Merit-based system will work. Their is no update till now about when it will be conducted and how it will be conducted and preparation needs time. We can't wait till November or December. I am a Cambridge board A-level student who cleared exams in Feb 2021 already! I wasted my time in preparing for DU JAT but we don't even know whether it's going to be conducted or not. Now I don't want to waste time behind CUCET. Hope people in the same situation understand.
