Should I be a day scholar or must stay in hostel for B.Tech in Amrita?

I am also pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. You should choose hostel first if your hostel provides better facilities like 24*7 electricity and water, better lodging and mess facility. In hostel, you get to learn a lot of things like discipline. You can get helps from seniors if you have any doubt. You will have lots of friends in the hostel. -

I am also pursuing B.Tech in electronics and communication from Jabalpur Engineering College-Jabalpur.
During the admission, I was also confused by same, but I decided to live in the boys hostel.
I think it was the best decision of my life because in the hostel, you become more friendly and there is no problem of anything. The hostel is very helpful for study purpose as well as for fun purposes. In the hostel, you get disciplined.
This is my 3 years of experience.
