As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well

As an LPU alumnus, I am honored to respond to your inquiry. I was a B.Tech CSE student at the time. CSE is one of LPU's branches with excellent placements. The majority of pupils are placed in reputable firms, with only a handful opting for further education. Students are provided special inputs in the form of placement sessions to help them develop their abilities and prepare for placements. Professors are friendly and knowledgeable in the collegiate setting. They are quite helpful with any technological issues. Students can reach out to them at any moment for help with their studies. Choosing between a reputed government college and a private university like LPU for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering depends on your academic goals, budget, and priorities. If you have the opportunity to join a well-established government institution like an IIT, NIT, or a top-ranked state engineering college, it is generally a better option due to its lower fees, strong alumni network, and higher recognition in the job market. However, if your government college option is not well-ranked or lacks proper infrastructure and placement support, LPU can be a smart alternative. LPU offers industry-oriented specializations, modern

    Dear reader,

As a LPU student I could say that LPU is a great choice for CSE.

An excellent return on investment is provided by a private institution such as LPU, which offers a contemporary, industry-aligned curriculum and remarkable placement possibilities with multinational firms.  Private institutions are superior in offering cutting-edge facilities and a strong, continuously updated learning environment, which is very advantageous for a rapidly changing field like computer Science and engineering, even though government colleges have their own advantages.

Dear Aysuhman, In my opinion, government and private colleges or universities do not matter for higher education. The university or college should be recognised. I did my MBA from LPU and it is UGC recognised. My friend did B.Tech in CSE from LPU itself. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Great Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 LPA. PEP Classes-

Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a challenging task, as our career depends upon that. Both the universities are doing equally well, but here, I would prefer LPU. There are several reasons for the same. In a very short span of time, LPU has received several ranks and accreditation. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. LPU is a worldwide level University w

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
