Should I choose a reputed government college for CSE or pursue the same from a private university like LPU or Chitkara?

As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc. Last year Tanya Arora from B.Tech CSE got 42 LPA from Microsoft. As an LPU alumnus, I am honored to respond to your inquiry. I was a B.Tech CSE student at the time. CSE is one of LPU's branches with excellent placements. The majority of pupils are placed in reputable firms, with only a handful opting for further education. Students are provided special inputs in the form of placement sessions to help them develop their abilities and prepare for placements. Professors are friendly and knowledgeable in the collegiate setting. They are quite helpful with any technological issues. Students can reach out to them at any moment for help with their studies. In the classroom, the most up-to-date teaching methods are applied. The curriculum in the CSE branch is well-designed, allowing students to acquire everything from the fundamentals to an in-depth understanding of their subject. The College takes them on an industry tour so that they may gain more experience and flourish. It provides hands-on experience by allowing students to work on real-world projects in order to build a sense of problem-solving and critical thinking, as well as improve their skills. In addition to the main curriculum, the course includes topics such as communication and soft skills to help students develop their personalities. Dear Aysuhman, In my opinion, government and private colleges or universities do not matter for higher education. The university or college should be recognised. I did my MBA from LPU and it is UGC recognised. My friend did B.Tech in CSE from LPU itself. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Great Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 LPA. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training &amp; Placement Institution in India. Industry Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Well if you ask me I would state LPU is best in regards to curriculum, pedagogy, placements and industrial exposure. Here are few facts to support are :- 1. The curriculum is equipped with 21st-century digital technologies for web designing, networking, mobile phone app development, data analytics, and databases. 4.
