Should I choose BVM or DDIT for mechanical branch?

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>BVM</strong></span>.</p><p>Reasons to chose -</p><ul><li>the oldest engineering college of gujarat having mechanical branch.</li><li>Experienced faculties.</li><li>Nice workshop and laboratories.</li><li>Now it&rsquo;s an autonomous institute so BVM have its own syllabus and question papers.</li><li>Good placement opportunities.</li></ul><p>Students in mechanical branch have higher rank here than DDIT, so you will get nice atmosphere here.</p><p>Drawbacks-</p><ul><li>Campus is very old and also small (1948). So BVM don&rsquo;t have best infrastructure. you may not feel like college.</li><li>Some professors are not good infact they are below average. Sometimes I wonder how they became professors.But I think it is common in every college even in IITs. Thanks to reservation system.!</li><li>Like nirma, pdpu and other private colleges there is no clubs like robotics, automobiles etc. in this college.</li><li>In DDIT mechanical is a self-finance branch so fee is higher there and it has poor placement.</li><li>In the year 2016 only 10 got placement out of 60.</li></ul><p>So no doubt that BVM is far more better than DDIT as far as mechanical branch.</p><p>Hope this will help you !</p>
