Should I choose M.Tech or MBA after B.Tech (ECE)?

I'd suggest you to continue your specialisation since it is very rare nowadays that one will continue MBA after B.Tech rather than M.Tech after B.Tech. There are plenty of recruitment options for M.Tech students in government sectors like ISRO, DRDO, etc. The vacancies in ISRO are 20-30 for engineers. Go for M.Tech only because continuity of your specialisation would be very good.

MBA has a little edge over M.Tech with respect to the working skills required in an organization. MBA will enhance your team building and management skills an add-on to your technical skill. M.Tech will further boost your technical and you will be in your core subject area of interest. In the end, it all depends on your planning of career growth and your interest. MBA has more scope as compare to core competency.

First and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M. Tech and MBA courses. Both are specialized degrees and have value in their respective grounds. Both M. Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over the time. M. Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority.

Without a doubt, MBA is a very good notion after B.Tech(ECE). Job opportunities after MBA in India are wide, and it is the responsibility of the students to pick up the right job from the options available. While considering the job opportunities after MBA, the students must make a list of options, analyze the pros and cons and weed out the thorns to weave the path of success.
