Should I choose Thapar University or VIT Vellore for CSE? I am from Punjab and am in interested in going out. What is a better option?

    I would suggest you to go with VIT, if you get a seat in CSE and can afford, As VIT is ranked No 1 private Institute by Indian Government 4th time in a row. Coming to placements and curriculum wise it's really excellent. There are top placement record for CSE students offering more than 40L by companies like Microsoft.

    Hi,
    Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thaper University has a good placement records than VIT.

    Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has various international rankings, excellent placement records, a qualified team of professionals as faculty members who provide the best possible guidance. Although VIT has a better ranking but grooming wise TIET does the work better. Plus you get global exposure. Average salary at TIET is around Rs. 5.93 lacs p. a. and the highest salary of Rs. 40.00 lacs. P. a. Well Comparing between these colleges TIET Stands at the top for computer Science.
