I would suggest you to go with VIT, if you get a seat in CSE and can afford, As VIT is ranked No 1 private Institute by Indian Government 4th time in a row. Hi, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thaper University has a good placement records than VIT.

What about other respects like teaching and exposure? Because placements depend greatly one's own calibre and VIT has good companies too.
