    Yes, one should consider NIRF ranking before taking the admission into any university. In India, Government rankings for colleges and universities are released by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), which was setup in September 2015 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), currently known as the Ministry of Education (MoE). NIRF Ranking Parameters
    NIRF provides rankings to universities and colleges in India based on scores obtained by them in five parameters:
    Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR)
    Research and Professional Practice (RP)
    Outreach and Inclusivity (OI)
    Graduation Outcomes (GO)
    Perception (PR). .
