Should I do any course or internship while preparing for government exams so that I can have other options in my career?
I completed post-graduation (M.Com) in account and finance from Calcutta University with first class in September last year.

You can appear for government exams along with a job and while doing an internship also. It doesn't matter as you need to be prepared for those exams to write them.
